Recently renovated by the Baron and Baroness of Langley Castle, in an exquisite, designer style, this is a superb self-catering cottage with a free in-built wow factor: a stunning view of Langley Castle, the most authentic, fortified medieval castle hotel in England, in whose grounds the 18th century Toll Bar Luxury Villa nestles.

"Guests staying at our wonderful, two-bedroomed cottage are welcome to explore the 10-acre grounds, with their mix of lawned and woodland areas and abundant wildlife, whenever access is available. They also have the option of afternoon tea indulgence in the chandelier-lit Drawing Room, can relax in front of a roaring log fire in winter, or climb up into a cosy window-seat, set into the seven-feet-thick castle walls, to enjoy some true we-time or quietly read a book. We also encourage guests to join the daily Battlements Tour, to learn more of Langley Castle’s incredible history. With these charming little touches, we hope to turn all of our self-catering breaks into truly magical and unique castle experiences.”

The Toll Bar Luxury Villa’s guests can either stay completely cocooned in their luxury haven, or
enjoy the best of both worlds and arrange to have breakfast and dinner in Langley Castle
itself in their award winning restaurant.
A private chef can also be arranged, or breakfast can be provided for you in a hamper delivered to your door.
Optional dining at the Castle is not available when we have an exclusive use wedding, reception will inform you if this is the case.
We have taken immense pride in rennovating the Toll Bar Luxury Villa, and the fixtures and fitting were carefully chosen to make your stay perfect, our guests think so too!
The Toll Bar Luxury Villa is approached by its own private woodland driveway, offering an
immediate sense of entitlement, seclusion and luxuriousness.
Guests benefit from private off-road
parking and can make the most of both the landscaped garden area and split-level outdoor
terrace, furnished with private, secluded seating, umbrellas and sunbeds. Relaxing here, in the castle’s
shadow, guests can feel a part of 14th century history, whilst retreating back into
complete 21st-century luxury in seconds, should an evening chill descend. A travel cot and a high chair are also
provided, so you can even bring a little one.
